Today I had a meeting with the organisers for the Rosalie gig. It's going to be a lot of fun, for this occasion we will extend our bateria with about 60 kids playing shaker and tamborim!!!
We only have two rehearsals until then, and I want to make a lasting impression, so I would appreciate it if you could all attend these rehearsals. If you could be there on time, even better!
For this gig we will need a few extra people on surdo, and we won't have any tamborims as this will be taken care of by the kids, so we'll need to reshuffle a little bit.

Hi Remko,
I can't make it to Rosalie and I also can't make the Pride gig this year - I will be attending a wedding/reception.
Are the kids coming to our rehearsals? That'd be fun!
Also, I may be late tomorrow, unfortunately. I can't get to work till lunch time tomorrow and will have to work back for a while; but will try my best.

I can't make it to class tonight either. I have too much work on at the moment and am feeling the pressure to meet deadlines.
