To Celebrate Dorian’s 22nd Birthday come to a
Festa Junina!
A traditional Brazilian June country party, celebrating Saint John, the corn harvest, music, and other crazy traditions (including a mock wedding with a pregnant bride).
Come along and use your ‘party money’ to play games, send someone (or get yourself sent) to ‘jail’ or have an announcement made at the party.
To warm up, there will be lots of quentao (hot wine drink), forro and quadrilha dances!
When: Saturday 23rd June, 6pm to late

Dress to theme: CAIPIRA
(Brazilian country style – use google images for great ideas)
Fancy dress is COMPULSORY... dress misconduct is PUNISHABLE by jailing on arrival (yes, there really will be a jail as part of the party)!

You can also ask our resident photo-blogger, Brian, but at least one of your pictures must contain shakers (in various forms) then.

As a new Mac user, I have noticed that some formatting options (including pictures) are not available in Safari. After installing Firefox on the Mac, all is well again!

It turned out to be just a problem with my file size, and the condition of my connection at the time (bad).
Well, if you're a jail fetishist, then this party jail will be the place for you*! Although I have to admit, it'll be better to be on the other side of the bars, eating, drinking and dancing the night away!

Absolutely! Like the invite says, everyone is allowed to send people to jail!
But, conditions apply, like a valid reason - having too much fun, not having enough fun, taking your seat, eating noisily, etc.).
If your reason isn't up to scratch, the case is put to the public, and we have a vote.
