Just a heads up: for at least one of the performances in SunCorp stadium, all dancers and percussionists will be dressed fully in white. I realise not everyone might have white pants, so here is some advance notice to pick up something next time you're in K-mart or so. I'm sure you can find something cheap (I found cheap white shoes for under $20 some years back).
If anyone has any suggestions on where to buy something like this, please post here as well. Thank you!

What about karate pants that go " swish " ? I'm not sure whether it fits me anymore.
How about white shorts?... people comment how nice my bowed legs are !
Definitely NO shorts or undies, and certainly not for you Brian!
how could white shoes NOT be cheap????
Can we settle for white shorts and white long socks ? ... Not much flesh showing .
Team up with white bowling shoes , like what Remko has last time, a white hat and a white cardigan , I'll stand out in the middle of Lang Park !
Does the whole costume need to be completely white - no little tiny bits of colour or pattern? For example the samba school pants? I did read the post properly, I just want to clarify...
Good to have your remarks back on the blog, Marcel!
Thanks Claire, I'll discuss this with Angelo and get back to you.
Righto, Samba school uniform pants ARE ACCEPTABLE as part of the full white costume. So whether you have these, women's jeans from the eighties or other wonders of the trousers kind in mind, as long as they are WHITE and TROUSER LENGTH then they are fine to wear. Plain White t-shirts for the top half, please. As for shoes, I know these can sometimes be hard to come by (unless, of course, you play lawn bowls)but as close to white as you can manage would be appreciated. Remember we will be walking on and off the field so choose footwear that you'll be comfortable walking in and won't lose easily.
Thanks Claire!
Re footware: absolutely NO high heels - only flat soles. Or you're not allowed to enter the field!
