I hadn't heard of this one - looks interesting! :)
Any Brazilian involved in this project, Fernando ?
I'll go and see it if there's 2D released in Brisbane. 3D digital glass would dull the vibrant colour of these beautifully rendered birds. "Avatar" was a flop, visually, for me.
Brian you were supposed to take the glasses out of the plastic. I am stunned you thought it was a flop, especially visually. Story line I could understand, but visually? Maybe you're one of those people that the 3D method doesn't work for. I went twice, just for the visual effects! And the colours were, well, brilliant!
Remko, I love the vibrant colours of animation but the 3D glasses darken the film a bit with a slight tint. I was inclined to lift the glasses ,several times, during the screening wanting to see the real colours.
I also noticed several glasses blinked incessantly among the pile of glasses returned on the way out. The poor buggers probably developped an epileptic fit.
I'm part of the 10% who feel sick when watching 3D. I haven't tried just the old school red and blue glasses but the grey ones the cinema hands out are awful. I think it's because I have a different prescription for either eye.
Brian, I don`t know if there is any Brazilian involved in the project. But I was really impressed by the trailer as it shows some real sceneries of Rio.
Cheers
so what part is set in Rio, Fernando?
