Ok, so they didn't actually use the beam, and I never managed to get that 2nd Surdo through customs. And that after it took a substantial amount of time to convince the airline that the surdo really was my handbag. Oh well, we did get everything else, and we managed to block the road for large parts of the day!

I hope moving all those boxes made you nice and warm - it looks horribly cold out there!
I think the correct term is "fuckin' freezing!" And to make it worse, the movers were carrying all the boxes, so all I could do was just stand there...

Hey Paul! Good to hear from you again. Off to Brazil, eh? What a shame, but I guess it has to be done. I must say, I wouldn't mind a little trip to some warmer place already, and I've only been here 1 month!
